The Pinhão railway station was built during the 19th century and is one of the most beautiful in the Douro Valley region. It received its first train on 1 June 1880 and played a very important role in the Port wine business, as it allowed the wine to be transported by train.

Here you can take a guided tour of the 1937 collection by the artist J. Oliveira, made up of 24 magnificent tile panels depicting the landscapes and customs of the wine-growing region.

The Pinhão Station Shop has a wide range of wines on offer, with tasting options harmonised with local products.
